| First off I love the premise of the game. From what I've seen of it it's awesome and I think the development team rocks... J.S. |
| I've played the game for about an hour now and it rocks... C.H. |
I'm a big fan of FF and Dragon Warrior, and I think that Crisis Wolverine is great! I have been very amused by some of the more subtle jokes that you have put in the game (especially North Campus)... B.B. |
| First of all, I'd like to say great job on the game. I'm a bit of an aspiring game designer/artist/nerd myself, so its a lot of fun to see others do the same... D.P. |
| I just played your new game Crisis Wolverine: Insurrection Green from start to finish, and it was the best three hours I have spent in a long time. The game completely sucks you in, making you want to explore the familiar landscape and find the jokes hidden within. Shortness and lack of complexity can be both good and bad, but here only the good seems to come through, leaving a nice, mint-like aftertaste. While playing, I sometimes thought that it was too easy, I mean I only had one party member die in the whole game. However, this ease certainly makes the game much less frustrating, and allows you to focus on the story, and the jokes. The length is also a blessing in disguise, I like Final Fantasy as much as the next red-blooded gamer, but sometimes I don't want to commit 60 or more hours to a game with a streched-to-the-breaking-point stroyline. Anyway, great game, recommending it to all my friends, and planning to donate (really, I just need to borrow someone's paypal account). Here's the short quote I use to plug the game: "www.criseswolverine.com has released an old school RPG (think an early Final Fantasy) set on campus that everyone with a PC should check out. Short (my first time through was just 3 hours), Simple (use the druggie's Dark to blind enemies so they can't attack), but most assuredly sweet. Totally engrossing." hope you don't mind. Thanks for the game, it is truely great work. K.N |
| First I just want to say what you already know, YOUR GAME RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant stop playing& except for one little problem im having& ive played to the end of the lurie tower level... S.V |
| Hey, first off, I would like to say great job on the game!
I was cracking up laughing through out the whole game... O.A. |
| freakin awesome...wow thats all i can say...congratulations on a job well freakin done. A.M. |
| Hey! I just finished the game and that was a great several hours of
fun. It was keen walking around campus - you even have the carpet colors in SQ right! I just wish you did the interior of Bubble Island, but I'm sure you have many similar requests. Thanks and great job! E.M. |
| oh dear god...this game is sweet. I've been playing for a few hours and I wanted to stop to tell you guys(/girl?) how funny this game is. I know this shows how much of a dork I am, but the "you must gather your party before venturing forth" joke at the start of Burton Tower cracked me up, as did pretty much the rest of the game(I enjoyed the Cloud cameo in the SQuad). Anyway, I look forward to finishing it. If it ends as strongly as it started it will be great. Thanks for making such a quality game. N.S. |
| First off, gotta give y'all mad props on the project; this is by far the funniest idea for an RPG I've ever seen! G.B- |
| The game rules! C.S. |

My roommate and I really love this game. We downloaded it last night and spent 6 hours each playing it, and we're not even video game aficionados. J.H. |
|
Awesome! This is the most fun I've had all semester. I've never played an RPG before, but this was thoroughly enjoyable. I love the little details in the game. M. |
|
I beat the game this morning and just wanted to say it was great
and hillarious. I loved it and am glad you brought something so great
to us. Thank you again. Great game, I must have told about 25 people
about it since I started playing last night. |

Your game is awesome! I was completely absorbed, and
now that I've played it all the way through I should be able to get
back to work :) Very funny, very detailed - I thought it was great
that we had to fight Sexy Grandpa! You guys did a great job, I'm telling
all my friends about it.
J.M. |

First off, I'd like to say that your game kicks ass!
I've been having trouble doing anything else since I started playing
it. K.H.
|
|
I have to say that I love the game so far! Its a great
parody of mainstream RPG games. M.P.
|
|
Dude that is a phat game! I downloaded it last night
and couldnt stop playing it till I beat it! I def liked the music,
and some of the spoofs on other RPG's were a riot! I hope that someone
on my campus thinks to do something like that sometime! Tell you team
to get up the good work, yourself included! T.W.

It's like playing 10 cool games all smashed into 1
nifty little package. keep em coming. M.S.
|
|
I thought your game was both clever and entertaining.
The only down side is that I'm already done with it. I have this overwhelming
urge to play it, but then i realize i have already beat it. When are
you going to come out with the next one (because quite honestly, there
really needs to be one, fast)? Z.S.

|
I'm terrible upset that you guys didnt hit up Baits
in your game. I guess...
It kind of sucks ass up here anyhow... Great game. Kinda short. You guys are cool. R.W. |
|
You're game rocks, great job. Played it, loved it,
can't wait for more. A.R.

Awesome game! I played a few of the dragon warrior
games when I was in elementary school and this is a really cool reckoning
back to that. M.Z.

a GREAT sense of humor. Much appreciated!!! M.B.

Congrats and thank you go to everyone involved in
creating crisis wolverine. despite all the projects i should be working
on as the end the semester approaches, i couldn't stop playing the
game. i think anyone who has been to these locations on campus will
appreciate the pure genius in their representations in the game. and
some of the jokes and references were just classic. so thanks to all,
i hope there is a sequel. B.M.

|
Hey guys, I wanted to show my support for this wonderful
game that you put out! I was very excited to play it, and it lived
up to every expectation. Good job!!! D.O.

|
Really enjoying the game, especially the Diag protesters
and the menu at Panchero's; having a great time running around all
my favorite places and enjoying all the things that make Ann Arbor
at once stupid and beautiful... I love it! L.S.

|
Hey, just thought I'd let you know I really enjoyed
playing your game. I'm a big RPG fan and it was definitely fun seeing
all the U-M inside jokes in one of them, not to mention all of the
characters from other games like Link, Cloud, Magus (er, Ganondorf?),
etc. Anyway, I really played the game pretty thoroughly, trying to
explore every nook and cranny that was available, and I found bugs
on some of the maps. I figured I'd let you know in case you hadn't
noticed them yet (see below). Anyway, thanks for a great game! M.R.

Your game is sweet. It kicks as much ass as ninjas do, even robot ninjas...with lasers. S.K. |
|
As a non-traditional gamer, I had no idea what to expect, but I played straight through after hearing it was set on campus. I loved the characters and the inclusion of campus structures. In the game, walking down South U- I visited Martha Cook where I live and laughed soooooo hard. If you make a sequel, let me know if you'd like to sneak past the front desk :) Great game! S.P. |

I don't know if this is where i send the fan mail, but i just finished playing Crisis Wolverine. First of all, "wow". Second of all, a resounding "sweet jesus this rocks!" It's good to see dedication mixing with creativity on such a painfully witty project. i can't tell you anything you haven't heard before, so i'll make up a word to describe how cool i think your game is: frawoutatum. Your game is very frawoutatum. T from EMU |
